The TV adaptation of Hilary Mantel’s Booker prize-winning novels Wolf Hall and Bring Up The Bodies has been a hugely anticipated event in the media. Catherine Fletcher of the Department of History was an adviser on the show and has been talking to the media about her experience.
Catherine worked with the production’s Art Department to deal with historical queries through the four months of filming last summer. She answered questions about everything from the shape of Tudor coffins to what sort of hat a cardinal should wear when.
